Karen Ann Briggs, 70, died Oct. 30, 2012, at Martin Medical Center, Stuart.
She was born in Dayton, Ohio, and lived in Jensen Beach since November of 2007, coming from Stuart.
She was an engineer/inventor in the electrical/mechanical field. She was a member of the Stuart Alliance Church and Hobe Sound Missions and a life member of the Amateur Radio Relay League.
Survivors include her husband, Jeremy Briggs of Jensen Beach.
