Funeral services for Mrs. Magdalena Jacobs will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church.

Mrs. Jacobs, 76, 302 East Sixth, died Tuesday afternoon at St. Anthony Hospital.

She was born in Pfeifer, Russia on May 11, 1894, and came to the United States in 1906 with her parents. The family settled in Pfeifer, Kansas.

She married Frank Jacobs on Nov. 19, 1912 in Pfeifer, and they moved to Hays in 1930. Mrs. Jacobs was a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband, Frank of the home; three sons, Benny, St. Petersburg, Fla., Robert, Santa Ana, Calif., and James of the home; three daughters, Mrs. William F. (Bridget) Diehl, Hays; Mrs. Louis A. (Barbara) Terenzi, Philadelphia, Penn.; and Charles F. (Anna) Steiger, Oklahoma City, Okla.; 25 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are one sister, Mrs. Margaret Jacobs, Hays; one half-brother, George Kiesner, Garden City, and four half-sisters, Mrs. Mollie VonField, Hays; Mrs. Barbara Jacobs, Denver, Colo.; Mrs. Anna Kiesner, Plains; and Mrs. Helen Breit, Wichita.

Mrs. Jacobs was preceded in death by two sons and two daughters.

A parish Rosary will be held at 8 p.m. Thursday in the Wilson-Mall Funeral Home. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Church Cemetery.
