Mr. Knight was born June 7, 1942, in Rockingham County, and was a son of the late Harry and Hazel Hottinger Knight.
Mr. Knight enjoyed watching NASCAR and loved to hunt, fish and shoot his bow.
Mr. Knight is survived by his former wife, Norma Kline. Also surviving are three daughters, Mary Ann Knight, Tammy Ann Valadez and husband, Humberto Rodriguez, and JoEllen Firor and husband, Andrew; two sons, Billy Joe Knight and Terry Allen Knight; one sister, Margie Hoover and husband, Dallas; two brothers, Ralph Knight and Donnie Knight; six grandchildren, Katelyn Knight, Adrian Valadez, Adelia Valadez, Stefanie Wilson, Andrea Ryan and Sarah Firor, and two great- grandchildren, Zachery Arbaugh and Kayden Ryan.
The Rev. Laney Knight and Al Landes will conduct a graveside service Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2014, at 3 p.m. at the Mount Clinton Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home anytime.
