John Byron Robinson Sr., 49,
Rt. 1, Delphi, died Sunday, July 3,
1977, at his home of an apparent
heart attack.
Born Jan. 6, 1928, his parents
were Earl and Jospehine Beaver
Robinson. He married Gloria
O’Dell May 9,1953, who survives.
He had been a bartender at
Easter Tavern in Delphi for six
years and was a veteran of the
Korean Conflict.
He was a member of the Harry
Bohannon Post 75 American
Legion and V.F.W. Post 9383 of
Delphi. .
Surviving with the wife are
three sons, John Byron Robinson
Jr., Wayne Lee Robinson and
Anthony Jospeh Robinson, all at
home; two brothers, Robert Earl
Robinson, Rt. 1, Delphi and Hugh
P. Robinson, Rt. 2, Monticello;
two stepbrothers, Alan D. O’Dell
of Delphi and John W. O’Dell of
Rossville; four stepsisters, Mrs.
Thayne (Edith) Curtis,
Cherokee, Iowa, Mrs. Ronald
(Carol) Raine, Lafayette, Mrs.
Tony (Peggy) Cozwell, Monticello,
and Mrs. Leonard
(Elizabeth) Ricco, Logansport;
three brothers and two stepbrothers
preceded in death.
Funeral services are today at 2
p.m. at Thompson Funeral
Home, Delphi with Father
Ambrose Ziegler officiating.
Burial was in Pittsburg
Cemetery.
