Mr. Taylor was a native and lifelong resident of Arnaudville where he was a parishioner of St. Francis Regis Catholic Church. He retired with Teledyne Offshore after 50 years of employment. A veteran of the military, Mr. Taylor proudly served his country in the United States Navy.
Survivors include his loving wife of sixty-five years, Earleen Tauzin Taylor of Arnaudville; two sons, Perry Taylor and companion, Karen Edwards, of Opelousas, Kim Taylor and wife, Charlene, of Breaux Bridge; one daughter, Debbie Schneider and husband, Joe, of Dickinson, ND; eight grandchildren, Ashley Taylor, Josh Taylor, Madalyn S. Hanks, Adam Schneider, Aaron Schneider, Darby Edwards, Jaran Edwards, Grace Edwards; three brothers, Ray Taylor and wife, Lilly, of Morrow, Stephen Taylor and wife, Viola, of Sunset, Charles Taylor of Cecilia; and three sisters, Betty Richard of Orange, TX, Sybil Kidder and husband, Don, of Port Arthur, TX and Rosie Young and husband, Norris, of Baton Rouge.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Welzie Taylor and the former Anna Schexnayder; one brother, George Taylor; and three sisters, Beatrice Kidder, Gladys Donaldson and Lucille Knott.
