Roland Tracy was the older brother of Harvey Tracy. Roland was wounded at Fort Donelson and captured on February 16, 1862. He and his brother were both transferred to a POW camp at Camp Douglas in Chicago. Roland was exchanged as a prisoner for William A. Tiller, another soldier in Pvt French's Battery Company B. .
