Mary Ann went-by Susan and/or Ann in many instances. She met and married James A. Byram in the mid 1860s. They were blessed with two children:
- Jim Ann (Susie or Susan Ann) (1867 - 1947)
- Henry Lee (1870 - ?)

Mary Ann then met and married William H. (W. H. or Bill) Baldwin. They were blessed with two thildren, as well:
- M. R. (1875 - ?)

She is listed as "J.A." in the 1870, 1880, & 1900 census records; listed as "Anna" in 1910, "Annie" in 1920, and "Susie Ann" on her death certificate.
