‎ ‎ ‎ Robert C. Carrico, "Bobber", 78 of Boise, passed away Friday Feb. 24, 2006, after a year-long courageous battle With glioblastoma cancer.
‎ ‎ ‎ A viewing Will be held on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. in Meridians Chapel of the Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Joplin Cemetery.
‎ ‎ ‎ Bob was born March 19, 1927 in Gooding, Idaho, to Raymond Carrico and Grace Dennis Carrico. He moved to Hagerman at the age of 10 and graduated from Hagerman High School. He then worked on the Bar S Ranch in Hagerman where he met Clara Harris, they were married July 23, 1950 in Meridian. Idaho. Shortly Afterwards Bob was drafted in the Army and sent overseas, Clara followed after the birth of their first child of four. They remained in France for one year. After he was discharged from the Army. they returned to Boise where he attended Boise Jr. College, and majored in construction management. They then moved to the Harris Family Farm where they spent the rest of their lives. Bob worked for Givens Construction, the Meridian School District and worked on the farm. He raised white face Herefords and always had a horse for his and grandkids to ride.
‎ ‎ ‎ Bob was preceded In death by his Wife Clara, Father and Mother and Brother, Charlie.
‎ ‎ ‎ He is survived by his four children Patti Moore (Steve), of Darby, Mont., Mitzi Horkley-Slade (Clarence) of Boise. Tracee Peterson (Ron), of Merdian, and Rob Carrico (Jeanna) of Boie, and by 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother William of Kansas City, Mo.
