Mrs. Carrie Huntsman, wife of B. F. Huntsman, deceased, died at her home in Allenport, a suburb of Mount Union, Wednesday evening at 5:45 o'clock. Her maiden name was Carrie Bard, daughter of W.H. and Mary Nelson Bard, both deceased. She was twice married. The first time to James I. Wilson, who died August 10, 1888. In 1893 she was married to B.F. Huntsman, who died on March 16, 1927. To the first union three children were born: Mrs. G.C. Kimberly, Lewistown, Mrs. W. Clyde Bratton, Ryde, and James I. Wilson, Spokane, Wash. To the second union two children were born: Mrs. Gerald D. Lukens of Mount Union, and Mrs. Earl T. Hoover of Wayne, Pa. Fourteen grandchild also survive. One sister and four brothers survive, as follows: Mrs. Fannie Irvin, Atkinson's Mills, David, Bruce, Harry and Frank Bard, Shirleysburg. Mrs. Huntsman was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church of Allenport. Funeral services will be held from her late home in Allenport Saturday at 2 P.M. in charge of her pastor, Rev. J. Alfred Cox. Interment in the I. O. O. F. cemetery, Mount Union.
