Peggy A. Harness, 69, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2014, at IU Health LaPorte Hospital, LaPorte, IN. Peggy was born January 22, 1945, in LaPorte, to Edwin and Lela (Cox) Harness.
She was a retired cook for Culver Military Academy and a past member of the Hamlet United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sisters, Mila (Dick) Young of Culver and Sue (Bob) Fort of Knox; two brothers, Jerry Harness of Florida and Jeff (Pat) Harness of Plymouth; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Loretta Pozorski; and brothers, LaVern, Lawrence, Merrill and Dick.
Funeral services entrusted to Rannells Funeral Home, Hamlet Chapel.
