Mrs. Mary B. McLean of 232 East Avenue died Thursday (March 18, 1976)at home after a long illness.
She was a native of Bethlehem, Maine and and resided in Syracuse 12 years.
Mrs. McLean was a nursing graduate of New Hampshire State Hospital, Concord, NH, and a communicant of Our Lady of Solace Church. She was a member of the American Nursing Association and worked at the Veterans Administration Hospital for 10 years, retiring in 1975 due to a medical disability.
Surviving are her husband, James A. McLean; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Briggs, Sr. of Portland, Maine; four sisters, Miss Delores Briggs of Hartford, Conn., Mrs. Ann Picariello of Needham, Mass., Mrs. Barbara Beliveau of Enfield, NH., and Mrs. Julia Gillespie of Casco, Maine and a brother, Earl Briggs, Jr. of Portland, Maine.
