Genevieve Marie (Moran) Braniff -- Genevieve was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on February 9, 1932 and went to the Lord on August 20, 2014 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

She was preceded in death by her parents who were members of the First Families of the Twin Territories of Oklahoma, Genevieve M. and Joseph P. Moran, daughter Jeanne Hardey (David) and beloved husband of 61 years, John Paul Braniff Sr. Also preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Bill Armiger and her brother, Joseph P. Moran II (Joan).

She is survived by her sisters, Rosalie Hahn (Shelton) and Margaret, her children, John Jr. (Tess), Phil (Silvia), Mike, Rebecca Russo (Honorable Michael J.), Mark (JoAnn), Francis and Phyllis, grandchildren Michael, Christopher, Jeanne Sonnier, David Hardey Jr., Jennifer Harmon, Matthew, Stephanie Spalding, John Paul Hardey, Cpt. Paul Russo (USAF), Elizabeth Lyons, Nathan, Jeffrey Weber, Carl Russo, Patrick Hardey, Patricia Russo, Catherine Clement, Peter Russo, Charlie, Roger, Ashley and 12 great-grandchildren.

Genevieve graduated from Marquette High School Class of '49 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was an active member and one time president of ACCW, and Altar Society. She was a proud Air Force wife during John's career that spanned 20+ years.

The family will receive visitors at Smith & Kernke Funeral Home, 1401 NW 23rd St., Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on Friday, August 29, 2014 from 12:00 - 4:00 p.m. followed by an Evening Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 1901 NW 18th St., Oklahoma City. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 30, 2014 followed by burial at Memorial Park Cemetery, Oklahoma City.
