Hattie Kent, age 91 years, of Lee, died Saturday at Monticello after an extended illness.
She was born in Alabama and came to Florida in 1888 with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John W. Williams, a pioneer family of Madison County. Survivors are two nieces, Mrs. Hattie Lee Jones, of Lee and Mrs. Sadie Rutland, of Leesburg, FL and five nephews, Henry and Ruter Williams, both of Green Cove Springs; Arthur Williams, of Lee, James T. Williams of Leesburg; and Joseph F. Williams, of Ocala. Services were held Monday at Corinth Primitive Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery. Madison Enterprise
