George McKee died Thursday, May 17, at the home of his son, Clarence McKee, at Howes Cave. Funeral services were held, Sunday, at the Second Reformed church in Howes Cave with the pastor, Rev. Jesse Durfee, officiating. Interment was at Sloansville. Mr. McKee was a native of Schoharie county, having been born in Esperance, Dec. 13, 1871, the son of Alonzo and Sarah (Shears) McKee. Survivors include the son, Clarence, a daughter, Mrs. Elba Kniskern of Hyndsville; a second son, Raymond, of the U. S. Navy, and two sisters, Mrs. Clarence Taylor of Washington, D. C., and Mrs. Jennie Moore of Esperance.
