Barbara Allyn Putman, 63, formerly of Maurertown, Virginia, passed away Thursday, August 21, 2014 in Timberville, VA.
Services will be private. Reverend Richard Craver will officiate.
Mrs. Putman was born January 8, 1951 in Lebanon Church, Virginia. She was the daughter of the late Lloyd D. and Ivy Coffman McDonald.
She was married to the late Sandy Putman and previously married to Ronald Lee Neff (1972-1978). She was a member of the Maurertown Brethren Church where she was involved in the ministries of the church. She graduated from Strasburg High School in 1969. She worked at Consulate Health Care of Woodstock as a CNA.
She is survived by her partner, Joe Foltz of Timberville; a daughter, Crystal Lynn Neff Wakeman and husband Terry of Toms Brook; a sister, Fran VanValkenburgh of California; six grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Maurertown Brethren Church Memorial Fund.
