Mrs. Edna H. Reed, 85, died Monday in the Golden Rule Nursing Home, Gaston. She was the widow of Martin Reed and formerly lived at 414 1/2 E. Gilbert St. She was a member of the Riverside EUB Church and Pals of Yesteryear.
She is survived by two sons, Herschel S. Reed of Springport, and Norman W. Reed, R.R. 7, Muncie; two daughters, Mrs. D.C. (Ethelyn) Brown and Mrs. Harry C. (Rosemary) Davis, both of Parker; four sisters, Mrs. Leda Mowery, Crossroads, Mrs. Ina Dillon, Williamsfield, Ohio, Mrs. Faith Woodworth, Andover, Ohio, and Mrs. Vera Hubbard, New Smyrna Beach, Fla.; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, six step-great-grandchildren and a step-great-great-grandchild.
Friends may call at Meeks Mortuary from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Services will be there at 10 a.m. Wednesday with Rev. Jack Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery.
