Dennis R. Rowe, 71 years of age, of Alma, Nebraska, passed away Monday, June 9, 2014 at the Good Samaritan Society Colonial Villa in Alma. Dennis was born October 21, 1942 at Collbran, Colorado, to Raymond R. and Rose Mable (Moore) Rowe. He graduated from Montrose High School and pursued higher education from Mesa College and later graduated from Denver University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
Following graduation, Dennis was employed by Cherry Creek National Bank in Colorado.
On October 16, 1976, Dennis was united in marriage to Saundra K. (Streck) Sell in Thornton, Colorado. Together they raised two sons, Jeff and Mark.
Dennis enjoyed reading, fishing and hunting.
Besides his parents and wife, Saundra, he was preceded in death by; a grandson, Bryan Sell; and a great-grandson, Phoenix.
He leaves to mourn his passing: sons, Jeff Sell and his wife, Gwen of Kearney, Nebraska and Mark Sell of Commerce City, Colorado; 10 grandchildren; one sister, Rosemarie Pollard and her husband, Earl of Aurora, Colorado; along with extended family and friends.
The family is honoring Dennis’s wish for cremation. There will be no visitation or memorial book signing.
A memorial has been established in Dennis’s honor and will be designated at a later date.
