GLEN SHERMAN
After a two month illness, Glen Sherman, prominent Mason and Kansas City attorney, died at his home 2926 Victor Street, Kansas City, Missouri Friday, aged forty-four years. Death was due to diabetes. Glen Sherman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Sherman, pioneer settlers of this community, was reared in this community, graduated from high school and later from the law department of Kansas University. While in the State University he was a star player on the K. U. football team. He married Victoria Ridenour, a sister of Mrs. W. B. Murphy of this city, the families being neighbors in the old Lincoln neighborhood. To them were born three children, Leslie, Wilbur and Elda, the latter nine years of age. In Kansas City Mr. Sherman was active in Masonic circles. He was a late Grand Patron of the Eastern Star of Missouri. In war activities he was engaged in Red Cross work and was a member of Draft board No. 10. He was a leader in the Boy Scout Movement, his son Leslie, being an Eagle Scout. Last fall he withdrew from the law firm of Metcalf, Brady and Sherman and engaged in individual practice. Besides his wife and children he leaves his mother, Mrs. Jane Sherman, a sister, Mrs. Lula Goodman, and a brother, Milo Sherman, all of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and his twin brother, Guy Sherman in the employ of the government at Washington, D. C.

The funeral services were held Sunday under the auspices of Ivanhoe Masonic Lodge. The body, accompanied by members of his family, was brought to this city Monday afternoon and burial made in the city cemetery under the auspices of Seneca Lodge No. 59 A. F. & A. M.
