Funeral services will be held for Rev. Harold D. Bailey,64,at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 20, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Garth Collier and Rev. Ronald Dunn, officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 from 5-8 p.m.

Rev. Bailey was born on February 16, 1950 in El Dorado, Arkansas to Dolphus Roman Bailey and Nannie Jane Bishop Bailey. He entered into rest Sunday, August 17, 2014 in Promise Hospital of Bossier City, Louisiana, following a short illness. Rev. Bailey was a mechanic for Chevron Oil Co., as well as an ordained minister in the Assemblies of God Church.

Rev. Bailey was preceded in death by his parents; 3 sisters, Mary Lindsey, Martha Gray, and Ernestine Bailey; and 3 brothers, Earl Bailey, Harry Bailey and Sim Bailey, Sr.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Elease Roberts Bailey; a sister, Faye Caldwell, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be L.T. Clark, Sim Bailey, Jr., Bill Gray, Charlie Estep, Marty Estep, and Jimmy Temple.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Gentlemen of the church.

For friends considering memorials honoring Rev. Bailey, his family suggest the Plain Dealing Assembly of God, American Diabetic Association, or the Cerebral Palsy of Louisiana.
