Arnaudville - Funeral services were held Wednesday morning in St. Francis Regis Catholic Church for Rene Angelle Sr. 74, of Port Barre, who died at I:25 p. m. Monday in St. Luke's General Hospital here.
Burial was in the Church Cemetery.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Georgia Faul Angelle of Port Barre; one son, Rene Angelle Jr. of New Orleans,1 one daughter, Mrs. Joseph Doris Aymond of Port Barre; two sisters, Mrs. Clemile Bernard of Arnaudville, Mrs. Valentine Taylor of New Orleans; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He was a veteran of World War 1 and a member of the Sacred Heart Society of Port Barre.
Pellerin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
