She was born in Groveland, Florida on December 18, 1923 to LeeRoy Allen and Beadie Ann Williams. She was one of eight children. Doris was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; she was always very active. She held many positions in the church, but the one she enjoyed and in which she excelled was as a Temple Name Extractor which she did for fourteen years with her devoted husband, Howard Reeder. She enjoyed ballroom dancing and traveled all over the world with her husband.
Doris is survived by her husband, Howard Reeder; three children: Judy Ann Olsen of Hyrum, UT; Jeannette Whitley of Douglas, GA; Barry Adams of Fairfield, CA; 19 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Harold George Adams, Jr. and her first husband, Harold George Adams.
Funeral services will be held Monday, October 27, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at the LDS Ward Chapel, 900 South 400 East, Centerville, Utah. Friends may call Sunday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North
Main and Monday morning from 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment - Hyrum City Cemetery at 3:00 p.m.
