MOREHEAD - Pruda Basford Ward Turner, 86, 670 Heritage Place, former Bluestone postmaster and Morehead State University cafeteria worker, died yesterday. Services 1 p.m. Friday, Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home. Visitation 2-5 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. Thursday.

NOTE: Mrs. Turner's birth record shows her given name as PRUDIA. The 1930 Census shows it as PRUDENCE. I am using PRUDA for her memorial as that is what is shown on her headstone.
Also, the Kentucky Death Index shows two records for Mrs. Turner. One shows she lived in Fayette Co., Kentucky and died in Morehead, Rowan Co., Kentucky. The other record shows she lived in Rowan Co., Kentucky and died in Fayette Co., Kentucky. I am using Morehead on her memorial as her death notice shows MOREHEAD in its listing for statewide deaths.
