Death of Mr. A. D. Strickland
The remains of Mr. A. D. Strickland were carried through here last Monday, enroute to Daviston for burial. Mr. Strickland was for years a resident of the Daviston neighborhood, but for the past few years had resided in LaGrange, where he died. He leaves a widow and six children four girls . and two boys. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. W. P. Cofield, assisted by Rev. J. P. Hunt and Rev. Jas. Dunn. The deceased was sixty years of age.
