Mr. Whitfield, a retired grocery store manager, died Friday. He was a native of Fulton County and a member of the Austell First Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Annie Mae Whitfield; daughters, Flora Whitfield of Austell, Mrs. Mildred Rowan of Potomac, Md., and Mrs. Agnes Meir Hood of East Point; and sons, Hubert E. Whitfield of Austell, Thomas N. Whitfield of Marietta, Aubrey L. Whitfield of Winnsboro, S.C.H. Charles Whitfield of Dunwoody and Allen P. Whitfield of Omaha, Neb.
