Son of Benneville & Josephine (Keller) DeLong and husband of Minnie I. (Schubert) DeLong. They were married on January 11, 1908 and had 2 children, Marguerite Evelyn DeLong Jones (b. 1908) and Arlene DeLong Beisel (b. 1909-1910). After Minnie's death in 1946, Herbert married Eva M. (Fox) Vosselman. Herbert died after a 15 foot fall from a rooftop he was painting.
