Mrs. Rudolph Grunloh, age eighty four years, an old settler and pioneer of Stearns County, passed away at her home after a short illness of pneumonia.
Mrs. Grunloh was born February second, 1836, in Oldenberg, Germany. In 1868 Mr. and Mrs. Grunloh came to the United States and took a homestead near Avon, where they continued to reside until 1910, when they retired.
Mr. Grunloh died two years ago.
The deceased is survived by five children, Mrs. R. Lukeroth, Mrs. F. Meyer, of Holdingford, Mrs. Barney Terwey, Mrs. Adam Keppers and Rudolph Grunloh. The funeral was held on Tuesday morning at the Catholic church in Avon, Rev. Cobenian officiating. Internment was in the Avon cemetery. The pallbearers were Rudolph and Philip Keppers, Ignatz and Robert Lukeroth, Rudolph and Barney Terwey, grandsons of Mrs. Grunloh.
