Electra (Special) - Services for G. W. Whisnand, 53, who died Sunday in a Wichita Falls hospital, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Southside Church of Christ in Electra. Lemuel Phillips and Gerald Beasley will officiate. Burial will be in Electra Memorial Park under direction of James B. Tucker & Son Funeral Home. Born Mar. 13, 1923, in Lancaster, Tex.. Whisnand was administrator for Electra Housing Authority and a member of Electra Rotary Club, I.O.O.F. Lodge, and a veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Juanita; a son, Ronnie of Electra; two brothers, E. G. of Electra and Homer of Crosby, Tex.; four sisters, Mrs. Myrtle McAlister of Holliday, Tex.; Mrs. Lucile Stone of Tucson, Ariz.; Mrs. Jewel Blalock of Breckinridge, Tex., and Mrs. Thelma Huckabee of Tyler, Tex., and two grandsons.
