Electra - Lem Whisnand, 74, died Thursday in a Wichita Falls hospital. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Cotton-Day Funeral home. Whisnand was a longtime resident of Electra and a retired oil field worker and farmer. Survivors include his wife, Jimmie Edith; three sons, L. S. 'Seburn' of Iowa Park; Texas; Bobby of Burkburnett and Danny of Electra; a daughter, Donna Rich of Electra; a brother, Homer of Iowa Park; four sisters, Velma Ray of Tyler, Texas; Myrtle McAlister of Holliday, Texas, Lucille Stone of Tucson, Ariz., and Ann Jewel Blaylock of Breckinridge, Texas, nine grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
