The information was passed through the Reece family. I(Patty Reece) have no photos. My understanding is that the cemetery is no longer around. I have the following info: Dan Reece Cemetery, Canteen Creek, Madison, Illinois. It's supposed to be by Troy, Il. I also have the following: At the Site of Canteen Creek Primitive Baptist Church near Troy, Madison County, Illinois.

This cemetery is located at the second site of the Canteen Creek United Baptist Church. The church obtained a parcel of land for a meeting house and burial ground from Daniel and Polly Reece in 1844, in Sec. 16 of Jarvis township. An earlier site, dating back to 1817, also had a cemetery, Sec.1 of Collinsville township. As per Patty Reece, November 21, 2008.

His wife Mary Williams was buried with him in same spot.
