CENTERS, MRS. SYLVIA A. - Service will be noon Saturday in Farley Baptist Church, Farley Hill near McAlpin, with the Rev. Roger Bevins officiating. Burial will be in Farley Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Williams-Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Sophia, and one hour prior to service at the church. Mrs. Centers, 67, of Manassas, Va., formerly of Farley Hill, Raleigh County, died Nov. 4, 1986, at home. She was a Baptist and past president of senior citizens, Woodbridge, Va. Surviving: husband, Theodore R.; sons, Teddy L. and Richard J., both of Woodbridge, William E. of Farley Hill; daughters, Cathy Hawkins of Washington, Judy Dingus of Manassas; brother, Elmer Basham of Manassas; sisters, Ethel Duff of Sullivan, Lora Jividen of MacArthur, Myrtle McGraw of Sophia, Thelma Rose of Cool Ridge; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
