James E. McQuade Sr. 84, of Frankfort, Indiana, died at 9:55 a.m. August 10, 2014 at St. Vincent Frankfort Hospital. Born April 23, 1930 in Frankfort to “Dutch” Orla Pasquel McQuade & Fern B. (Utterback) Boyd. He was raised by Chester C. Boyd. Mr. McQuade was a 1948 Frankfort High School graduate. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, he served from August 5, 1950 to August 6, 1954. He worked at Chrysler, Montgomery Ward and Abilities Services. He was a member of the Woodside Christian Church. He loved to play cards and adored his grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, August 14, 2014 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. until time of service on Thursday. Burial will be in Green Lawn Cemetery.
