He was born October 7, 1920, in Adams, ND, to Fredrick and Pernille (Hilde) Dahlgren. Albin served in WWII as a Tech Sergeant. On May 22, 1954, he married Marian Kjelland, at Fargo, ND, and they made their home in Grand Forks, ND. They moved to Moorhead, MN, in 1956, where he worked as a television repairman. They moved to Silver Bay, MN, in 1963 where he was an electrician for Reserve Mining Company. Marian died February 7, 1996. After his retirement, Albin moved to Grand Rapids, MN, in 2000. He was an avid Minnesota Twins fan!
Albin is survived by a son, James, Crystal, MN; two daughters, Karen (Chad) Haatvedt, Grand Rapids; and Alice (Mark) Thompson, Savage, MN; two granddaughters, Kacy (Matt) Nistler, and Raena Haatvedt; and a brother, John, Grand Forks, ND.
In addition to his wife, Albin was preceded in death by his brothers, Lawrence, Palmer, and Myron; and his sister, Myrtle Nygaard.
