MRS. MARGARET ROGERS DIES AT INDIANAPOLIS
Body of Former Franklin Resident Brought Here for Burial
Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret E. Rogers, mother of Mrs. William E. Lincoln, were held this afternoon at the home of Mrs. Lincoln…followed by burial in Greenlawn cemetery at Franklin.
Mrs. Rogers was a former wife of William H. Rogers of this city and formerly resided at this place. She is survived by the daughter with whom she had made her home. A son, Charles Rogers, of New York, died last spring from shell shock received in the world war. He had been in the navy for many years. Mrs. Rogers was 68 years of age and had been an invalid for three years.

Oddly enough, Margaret divorced William Rogers and married a second time to Christopher Carter, whom she also divorced. She most likely re-married William, but I have yet to find that information. Linda (Mosier) Board
