Kathleen Diane Aguilar was born November 15, 1951 to Frank and Wanda Rose. Hanford was her home for the entirety of her life with the exception of small residencies in New Port News Virginia and Fresno California. Kathleen crossed over to walk with the Lord in the early morning hours of August 6, 2014 in the comfort of her own home with her loved ones around her. She exhibited a life throughout her bout with cancer that redefined what it meant to walk in grace, have the strength of a warrior and persevere, not just to get through the discomfort, but to awake each day, embrace life, love and exemplify what it looks like to truly live. Kathleen’s husband of 41 ½ years was by her side throughout her journey. Robert and Kathleen Aguilar were married Feb. 14, 1973. They were charged and gifted by the Lord to raise three beautiful children, Michael Aguilar Friant Ca., Tawnia Aguilar and Raymond Aguilar, both of Hanford Ca. Kathleen also had the privileged time of being a first time Grandparent for the last four years to Kyrsten Aguilar. Kathleen is also survived by her father, Frank Rose of Selma Ca. Brothers, Frank C. Rose Jr. of Hanford Ca. and Michael Rose of Hanford Ca. Sisters, Suzane Emling of Hanford Ca.,Frances Campos of Twin Falls Id. and Deanie Camacho of Hanford Ca. Graveside services will be held Friday Aug. 15th, 9:30am at Hanford Cemetery, 10500 S. 10th Ave. Hanford Ca. 93230. Immediately following will be fellowship and food at the home of Rick and Denise Carter, 8620 N. 12th Ave. Hanford Ca. 93230 In lieu of plants/flowers, it was Kathleen’s wish to give the option of donating to www.pancan.org in efforts to further the research and treatment of pancreatic cancer.
