Cory was a 1986 graduate of Quincy High School and a 1990 graduate of the University of Iowa where she was a Phi Eta Sigma and a member of the Chi Omega Sorority. She was a member of Friends in Council, Quincy Service League, The Women's Interdenominational Bible Study, First Union Congregational Church, Madison School and Baldwin School PTA and was also a room mother. She was a loving and devoted daughter, wife and mother.
Cory was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Donald Didriksen and Helen Didriksen Connell, and her maternal grandfather, Charles Heidbreder.
