Born December 26, 1929 in Baltimore, MD and was the daughter of the late Elmer and Clotilda De Souza Wyatt and widow of Robert “Junior” Lee Wofford.
Mrs. Wofford retired from South Carolina Elastic Company in Landrum, SC.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Wofford; son, Lynwood “Woody” Wofford; two sisters and one brother.
Surviving is one son, Robert “Bobby” Wofford of Inman, SC; three sisters, Alice Weaver of Columbus, NC, Mary Wofford of Landrum, SC and Shirley Brown of Spartanburg, SC; one brother, Walter Wyatt of Aiken, SC; and one granddaughter, Mary Irene Wofford.
A graveside service was held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 11, 2014 in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Landrum, SC with Rev. Jimmy “Hambone” Camp officiating.
The family received friends following the service at the cemetery.
