Obituary for Renee' Rubley
Renee’ L. Rubley, 82, of Coldwater, passed away Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at the Community Health Center of Branch Co.
The funeral service will be Monday, August 11, 2014 at 11:00 AM at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Coldwater with Pastor Aaron Chittick officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, August 10, 2014 from 3- 7:00 PM at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater.
Renee was born March 25, 1932 in Muskegon, Mi to Oscar & Hildegard (Miller) Brauer. She married Dale R. Rubley on June 7, 1952 in Coldwater, he preceded her in death on August 2, 2013.
Mrs. Rubley was a dedicated wife, mother and homemaker and had also worked at Parkside Pharmacy and Pete Barone Tax and Accounting. Renee’ was very strong in her faith and was an active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, where she was very involved in many of the church functions. She enjoyed embroidery,flower and vegetable gardening, reading and exploring her Ipad.
Renee’ is survived by her sons Ross (Angie) Rubley of Hamilton, Gerald Rubley of Battle Creek, her brother Jud (Linda) Brauer of Coldwater, her grandchildren Kaylani, Josh and Kyler Rubley, her very special friends Beryl & Clyde Gilbert of Anchorage Alaska. In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her brother Richard “Dick” Brauer.
Memorials may be directed to St. Paul Lutheran Church in Coldwater.
