Graveside services for Leah J. Dalton, 63, of Roswell will be held at 10 am, Friday, July 31, 2009 at South Park Cemetery with Vista Care Chaplain Cecil Kimberlin officiating.

Leah passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at Roswell Regional Hospital.

Leah was born August 3, 1945 to Thomas Floyd Pyeatt Jr., and Billie Jo Shaw in Albuquerque. She had many interesting hobbies such as collecting stuffed animals, rocks, arrowheads and pottery, she went around with her metal detector always finding money, she was quite the treasure hunter. Leah enjoyed watching the Christian Stations and most of all loved to spend time with her family and grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her four children; Tammy Seig and her husband David, Joe Norvell and his wife Melissa, Garland Dalton and his wife Carlita, Rickey Dalton and his wife Amy , her mother; Billie J. Pyeatt, three brothers; Tommy and Edward Pyeatt, Steven Pyeatt and his wife Barbara, three sisters; Mildred Parker and her husband Kenneth, Gwen Berg and her husband Garland, Renee Modrano, nine grandchildren; Misty and Justin Hellums, Eric and Jenny Graves, Trisha Sieg and Wesley, Travis Sieg, Devin, Lane and Colt Dalton, Gabriella and Noel Daniels, five great-grandchildren; Brittany Ray, Faith, Wyatt and Regina Hellums, Garrett Graves, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews, also her surviving spouse; Eddie Bizzell.

Leah was preceded in death by her daddy; Thomas F. Pyeatt, her husband; Wayne Dalton and one grandson, Allen Graves.

Pallbearers will be Eric Graves, Justin Hellums, Devin Dalton, Travis Seig, Kenneth Parker and Steve Looney.
