Frederick C. Allen, (Petey) 55, of Bristol, CT, husband of Denise (Baker) Allen, passed away on July 12, 2004 at Bristol Hospital. Fred was born and raised in New Britain, CT to the late William O., Sr. and Cassie (Yopp) Allen. He lived in New Britain most of his life moving to Bristol only recently. Fred attended local schools, worked for Pratt and Whitney for many years and most recently retired from American Medical Response in Waterbury. He was a member of Grace Apostolic Church of Terryville and was a member of the Men’s Ministry. Besides his wife, Fred is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law Andre and Holly Allen of New Britain, CT and Fred Allen, Jr. of Vista, CA; one daughter Sonya Allen of New Britain, CT; three stepsons Maurice Baker and Tyler Pettway of Bristol, CT and Anthony Murdoc of Hartford, CT; a brother and sister-in-law William Jr. and Sandra Allen of New Britain, CT; two sisters and one brother-in-law Kathy L. and Raymond Smith of Farmington, CT and Marilyn Allen of New Britain, CT; four grandchildren Scott, Ashley, Jasmine and Andre, Jr.; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins and a host of friends. Those who knew and loved him will dearly miss Fred’s laughter and witty charm. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in New Britain.
