James Edwin Wesson dies at Worcester.
James Edwin Wesson, 84, shoe manufacturer in this city for more than 50 years, died today at his home.
He was senior member of the firm of J. E.& W. G. Wesson company, which was a factory here.
Mr. Wesson was born at Grafton, educated in the schools of Springfield and Worcester.
His father had been a shoe manufaccturer and the son, who was enthusiastic over modern machinery, induced his father to let him open a small shop of his own in the same building, equipped with modern devices.
From this small beginning the business grew, the elder Wesson finally retiring and turning over the entire business to his son.
