Kathy Hasting, daughter of James A. and Bonnie (Rankin) Hasting.

Born 12 January 1960 in Quincy, Illinois, Kathy owned and ran a meat market: Kate's Meat Market at 5th and Chestnut streets in Quincy. She later worked as a USDA inspector until she retired.

She had four brothers, three sisters, and a son.

Kathy was preceded in death by her father, James; her paternal grandparents, Walter and Edith; her maternal grandparents, Francis and Violet Rankin; and a niece, Lori.

Pastor Bruce Willard presided over her funeral services, which were held at the funeral home Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson, in Quincy, Illinois.
