Mrs. William Abrams, aged 66 years, died Sunday morning at her home, 605 South Main avenue. Besides her husband the following children survive her: Thomas Abrams, tenor soloist at the Simpson Methodist church, Evan Abrams and Mrs. William Thomas. (The Times-Tribune, Scranton, PA, July 6, 1909)

Death of Mrs. Elizabeth Abrams
Mrs. Elizabeth Abrams, wife of William Abrams, of 606 ½ South Main avenue, died at her home July 4. Deceased was born in South Wales. The deceased came to America 25 years ago, and has dwelt in Scranton the most of that time. She was beloved by all who knew her, and was also a very active member of the Welsh Congregational church of West Scranton. The deceased is survived by her husband and seven adult children, as follows: Mrs. Elizabeth Weaver, Mary Beahn, of Clearfield, Pa.; Thomas, Mrs. Esther Thomas, Sarah, Catherine, Eva G. The funeral was held at the late home this afternoon at 2:30 o’clock. Interment was made in Washburn street cemetery. (The Times-Tribune, Scranton, PA, July 7, 1909)
