Newell Joseph Law, 56, of Mapleton, died October 29, 1990, at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center, of a massive stroke. He was born September 13, 1934, in Mapleton, to Joseph B. and Clara Vontella Brindley Law. He married Gay Whiting, January 12, 1957, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Provo LDS Temple. He is survived by his wife, Mapleton; two sons and one daughter, Guy D. Law, Griffin Jud Law, both Springville; Rani Law, Mapleton; three grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Wayne (Corrine) Gabbitas, Orem; Mrs. Max (Gwen) Mortenson, Payson; Mrs. David L. (LaFonda) Cook, Payson. He was preceded in death by two grandsons. Burial was November 2, 1990.
