Floyd was a Methodist minister. He first married Frances Jane Ratcliff (also seen as Radcliffe). According to my research findings, they had the following children:
Thompson Ward McCormack, b. Abt. 1855, d. June 18, 1898.
William McCormack, b. Abt. 1857, d. date unknown.
John Samuel McCormack, b. March 29, 1859, Greenup Co., Ky., d. July 06, 1938, Ironton, Lawrence Co., Ohio.

Sarah J. McCormack, b. Abt. 1862, d. date unknown.

Nancy Nannie Annie McCormack, b. January 06, 1866, Carter Co., Ky., d. December 10, 1920, Lewis Co., Ky. (St. Paul).
Annie McCormack, b. Abt. 1867, d. date unknown.
Luvenia (census reports have her s Suvenia) McCormack, b. Abt. 1869, d. date unknown.

The youngest two children died in a fire. Floyd allegedly blamed his wife for the fire, and divorced her. He then married Martha Haney McCormack. And they had a son, Jim McCormack.
