Milton Robert Bolles, 74, a lifelong citizen of Laclede county, died at the family home east of Lebanon near Russ at 4 o'clock Saturday afternoon. He had been ill for about two weeks.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Monday, April 13, at New Hope church near Russ conducted by the Rev. C. E. Smart. Burial was in the cemetery there under direction of Palmer's Funeral home.
Mr. Bolles was born March 30, 1868, in the Candock vicinity. His parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. Albert Ewing Bolles were among the earliest settlers in that part of the county locating there several years before the opening of the Civil war. Milton Bolles spent his entire life in the county.
He leaves his widow, Lorinda and three sons, Earnest Bolles, Lebanon; Vernie Bolles, Huntsville, and Effus Bolles, South Carolina.
