Ann D. "Nancy" Amole, 89, died Monday, August 4, 2014 at Harrison Senior Living, Coatesville. She was the wife of Gerald "Jerry" Amole, who preceded her in death in 1997 having shared 50 years of marriage. Born on July 1, 1925 in West Chester, she was the daughter of the late John and Helen (Nellie) Doran. She attended St. Agnes High School and graduated from the Chester County School of Nursing. Nancy worked for a dental office in Coatesville and later worked at Scott High School as a cook in the cafeteria for many years. Nancy was an active member of Our Lady of the Rosary Church and the Congrega. She was also a member of the Senior Circle at Brandywine Hospital. Her hobbies included cooking, baking, shopping and traveling. Nancy always had a bag packed and was ready to go anywhere to share her amazing smile and humor. Her most memorable trips were to Alaska and her beloved Ireland. She also loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Surviving her are four daughters, Ann (Joe) Migdal of Coatesville; Eileen (Rich) Sama of Narvon; Mary Lou Schaaf of Reedsville, and Geri (Mark) Frederick of Honey Brook; grandchildren, Jesse (Shannon) Midgal, Rose (Ben) Thompson, David (Jen) Sherwood, Julia (Matt) Salter, Nicholas Sama, Lauren (Jeremy) Herb, Nolan Schaaf, Cody (Ana) Frederick and Hannah Frederick; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, John P. (Jack) Doran. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 7th, at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 80 S. 17th Avenue, Coatesville. Family and friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 6th and from 9 to 10 a.m. on Thursday at the Harris-Mountain Funeral Home, 1030 E. Lincoln Highway, Coatesville. Interment will be in St. Cecilia Cemetery, Coatesville. In her memory, contributions may be made the Harrison House Activity Fund, 300 Strode Avenue, Coatesville, PA 19320.
