Hannah was born the youngest of 9 children, on October 12, 1918 in Boneta to Lucius Nelson and Mary Jennette Brotherson Swasey.
She married Clarence Earl Oman on September 24, 1940 in Price, Utah. They were sealed for time and all eternity in the Provo LDS Temple on February 19, 1987. He died September 6, 1987.
Hannah was a wonderful seamstress, even making wedding dresses for her family. Later became a master quilter, making quilts and sharing them with many others. She loved to read and memorize poetry. She loved handy work, crocheting, and doing upholstery. She raised a big garden and canned the harvest, she also had a beautiful flower garden. She cherished her scriptures and spent time in them each day.
She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and loved her Heavenly Father very much.
She is survived by her children, Joyce (Willard) Burton, West Jordan; Bonnie Ann (Thomas) Petersen, Hilo, Hawaii; Erle Clair (Barbara S.) Oman, Ogden ; Phil L (Sandra F). Oman, Orangeville, UT; Ralph S. (Julie W.) Oman, Ogden, Daniel Dirk Oman, Boneta, 24 grandchildren, and 44 great grandchildren with one on the way.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Clarence Earl Oman.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 8, 2014 at 12 noon at the Mountain Home LDS Chapel.
A viewing will be held from 10:00 - 11:45 a.m.
Burial in the Boneta/Mountain Home Cemetery.
