Harold B. Franklin, 61, of Rt. 2,
Delphi, died a t 9:30 p.m. Friday,
December 3, 1976, at St.
Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette.

Born March 26, 1915, in Pittsburg,
he was the son of LeRoy
and Charlotte Dice Franklin. He
was married in 1937 to Thelma
Richardson, who survives.

A veteran of World War II, he
grew up in Pittsburg and Delphi.
He formerly owned Sam's Fish
House at Pittsburg. He was a
member of the United Methodist
Church, Delphi, the Delphi
American Legion Post, the 40 and
8 of Lafayette, and the VFW,
Lafayette.

Surviving with the wife are a
son, John Franklin of Rt. 2,
Delphi; a daughter, Mrs. Charles
Elliott of Renton, Wash.; a sister,
Mrs. Robert McMillen of
Logansport, and four grandchildren.

Services were Monday at
Jackson Funeral Home, Delphi,
with the Rev. Donald Ashley
officiating. Burial was in Pittsburg
Cemetery with military
graveside rites.
