Franklin 'Frank' D. Bable, 73, of Crescent, PA, passed away Sunday, August 3, 2014 at Good Samaritan Hospice Beaver, with his family at his side.

Frank was born on April 12, 1941 in Carnegie PA to the late Frank C. Bable and Leona Janz Bable. Frank graduated from Carnegie High School and retired after 35 years military service with the Pennsylvania Air National Guard.

He is survived by his wife, Ila Nelson Bable; two daughters, Melissa Lewis and Shawna Bable-Rice. He was the beloved 'Pap' to his grandchildren: Colten and Helena Rice. He also leaves behind a sister, Gerri Emrich of Branford FL; sister in law, Charlotte (Robert) Moore; brothers-in-law, Frank (Carol) Nelson, Harry W. Nelson Jr. and Bob Murdock; also many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, James T. Bable and a sister-in-law, Joyce Murdock.

The family wishes to extend its gratitude to the nurses and staff at Good Samaritan Hospice for their compassionate care.

A private graveside service will be conducted by Jeremy Main of the Coraopolis Church of Christ at Mill Creek Cemetery, Greene Twp.
