She was born July 28, 1915 in Duran, NM to the home of Pablo & Agustina Madril.
Beatrice was an inspiration to all of her family in her love, strong faith and devotion to OUR LORD. She died in her home surrounded by her daughters and several of her grandchildren. Beatrice had a heart of gold and it was evident by the love that she shared with her entire family. Her door was always open to all who needed or wanted a place to stay or just visit. She had a passion for crocheting, arts and crafts and gardening. She took pride in her flowers and front yard. Beatrice was a member of Mt. Carmel, St John the Baptist Church, Duran, NM.
She is survived by three daughters, Lydia Gutierrez of Texico, NM, Connie Gauna and husband, Lucio of Tijeras, NM, Stella Luna and husband, Robert of Vaughn, NM; 25 grandchildren; 64 great- grandchildren; 37 great - great- grandchildren; Amy Lucero, her most special and loving friend, who was always at her side giving her love and encouragement. She always made her day.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Isidro Madril; her parents; two daughters, Carmen Herrera, Orlie Trujillo; three grandchildren, Joaquin Chavez, Lonnie Herrera and Carlota Gutierrez; and two great- grandchildren, Teresa Gutierrez and Randy Herrera, Jr.; six siblings, Manuel Madril, Isabel Chavel, Dolores Garcia, Guadalupe Madril, Joaquin Madril and Dolores Apodaca, and countless nieces and nephews. She will be in our hearts and memories forever.
Rosary services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, June 2, 2011 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Vaughn, NM. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 3, 2011 from St. Mary's Church. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Gerald Gauna, Richard Luna, Leroy Herrera, Alexander Gutierrez, Alfred Trujillo and Jacob Gauna.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be; Jerry Trujillo, Johnny Trujillo, Espidirion Gutierrez, Elfido Gutierrez and Randy Herrera.
